Plans

Oh my it's been so long from my last post. Well I am engaged now, he proposed on Mother's day weekend. It was so sweet... he had asked the kids before hand about us getting married and they were all for it :) God has truly blessed my life. Yes there are still struggles, but each day I can see Him working things out in ways I never would have dreamed.

So now comes the planning... got to get things in order for a wedding in Sept. 2011. Figure out how to do everything we want on a VERY tight budget, and I know it can be :)
I will post more later... I have been into writing again and have posted a lot on my facebook page. I'll get them over here soon. For now wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

ONE

One fight, One hit, One call all is falling apart.

One room, 4 beds, One lock we are safe at last.

One message, One email, One call a new friend is made.

One trip, One look, One hug my heart is leaping.

One talk, One move, One house we are learning to live again.

One year goes by, One new love has found away,

Two lives with One goal, to become One someday.

How We Met

Ok so READERS DIGEST VERSION:
after starting back up with myspace I was looking for friends from high school. I had them on my OLD myspace page and wanted them on the new one I set up too. I was looking for some that I knew moved to Indiana so I set the search for 100 miles and began looking for my friends page. I can across HIS and looked at it, read his page,,, then moved on and kept looking for my friends. BUT I just kept going back to look at HIS page over and over. Something just kept drawing me to it; I didn't know him, I thought " This is crazy " but I send a friend request anyway. To my surprise HE accepted it... we had both left a comment you know Hi How are ya.. nice pic,,,,,,,, Just general stuff. And that was the end of it.
Then Dec 31st HE had something posted that just got to me so I emailed HIM. We emailed back and forth throughout the day and exchanged IM usernames... and chatted on line for a long time. Not sure how but we ended up on the phone toasting in the NEW YEAR! We talked til like 1 in the morning. It was the best time I had had in a LONG time.
JAN.1st .... HE comes up with his son for the day. I was so nervous... they show up and he brings in his son and he said he wanted a hug. I was a little taken back by that just meeting for the 1st time but i gave him a hug. He said I'll be right back and he want back out and came in with 2 doz Roses (1 doz red and 1 doz white. WHITE are my favorite he didn't know that but WOW) , a card, and a box of candies. We watched his son play and run around with my dog, talked, tried to watch a movie lol. It was a great day and the start of it all.
We have talked / been together everyday from that point. HE is the most wonderful, caring, loving, man I have EVER known. I thank God everyday for allowing our lives to come together and now together we'll see what else God has in store for us.

UP-DATE

Well I know it's been a long time from my last post but A LOT has been going on. Let's see....

My divorce is final and WE ARE doing shared parenting DESPITE what my EX is telling people.

I'm done with school and took my state boards ( find out today if I passed ).

I have moved away from all the DRAMA, although I miss my family greatly I think this is the best thing I could have ever done. I have never lived away from my family.

I have been with the same man for almost 8 months now. He has been a God send and I thank God ever day for putting such a person in my life. When I had all but given up on the idea of ever finding a man that I would be able to trust whole heartedly; God had our paths cross and I'm so thankful for that.
... so HERE'S TO A NEW START AND A NEW LIFE.

PHOTO HUNT

PHOTO HUNT:
PROTECT

We as Nursing students are taught that we are here to Care for, Support,
Comfort, and above all PROTECT our Patients.

There are many ways to protect our Patients:
We use gowns, gloves, and mask not only to protect our selves from a disease or infection.
But to also PROTECT the Patients we are caring for as to not spread that disease or infection.

Most rooms will have signs posted to let you know that this patient needs special protection used when caring for that patient.

Just remember to ALWAYS USE PROTECTION.
You never know what's out there :)

POEM By William Shakespeare

Sonnet 18
Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.
